RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE BOROUGH OF
POINT PLEASANT BEACH GEESE FORCE
In accordance with §7-6.1 and §7-6.2 of the Code of the Borough of Point Pleasant Beach, all canines participating in the Borough of Point Pleasant Beach Geese Force must be licensed and display the license and evidence of membership whenever performing Force functions.
Owners of Geese Force canines are responsible for the behavior of said canine while performing Force functions. Geese Force Membership can be revoked for negative canine behavior while performing Force functions.
Membership in the Geese Force is limited to residents, property owners, and renters or tenants of the Borough of Point Pleasant Beach.
Geese Force canines can ONLY be present during the following circumstances:
Municipal parks while these areas are NOT in use by other non Geese Force citizens;
Point Pleasant Beach School fields and playgrounds while the school is NOT in session AND/OR while children are NOT present;
Public areas around the Borough’s three lakes, Point Pleasant Beach Little League fields, and other open fields, while these areas are NOT in use by other non Geese Force citizens;
If at any time the Geese Force is patrolling these areas and non Geese Force citizens arrive to utilize that area, then the Force dogs MUST leave immediately;
All Geese Force canines patrolling non-fenced areas must be on a leash at all times.
Failure to remove and properly dispose of canine feces shall constitute cause for immediate revocation of Geese Force membership and the levying of fines as dictated by Borough Ordinance.
