MINUTES

POINT PLEASANT BEACH
PLANNING BOARD

OPENING STATEMENT

Chairman Ammirata stated that this is a regular meeting of the Point Pleasant Beach Planning Board and adequate notice of this meeting was given by publication in the Ocean Star and by posting a copy of said notice in the front office of the Borough Hall.

ROLL CALL
Members present: Chairman Ammirata, Tom Neumaier, Mary Mossa, Jason Shamy, Councilwoman Kristine Tooker, Bill Knapp, Mike Brodeur and Jim Harris.
Also present was Dennis Galvin, Esq., Planning Board Attorney.

VOUCHERS
Motion by Mr. Harris, seconded by Councilwoman Tooker and approved by roll call vote of those members present: Vouchers submitted approved for payment.

MINUTES
Motion by Mr. Neumaier, seconded by Mrs. Mossa and carried by roll call vote of those members present: Planning Board minutes from July 1, 2009 regular meeting approved. (Not Voting:
Messrs. Shamy, Knapp, Brodeur, Harris and Councilwoman Tooker.)

APPLICATION #2009-340 1500 RICHMOND AVENUE and POINT BEACH SPIRITS PRELIMINARY AND FINAL SITE PLAN
Chairman Ammirata recused himself from this hearing. Vice-Chairman Neumaer took over.
John Jackson, Esq., Attorney for applicant was present. After opening statement by Mr. Jackson and testimony of Christine Cofone, it was determined that service on adjoining property owners was defective in that property owners within 200 feet located in Point Pleasant Borough were not included in the notice. After discussion and by motion of Mr. Brodeur, seconded by Councilwoman Tooker and unanimously approved by roll call vote of those members present, it was agreed the application would be rescheduled for hearing on a special meeting date set for Wednesday, September 30, 2009. The applicant was advised that renotice to all property owners within 200 feet and publication in the newspaper would be required.

CORRESPONDENCE:
1. 8/24/09 letter received from Diane Turton Realtors requesting information regarding leasing of the first floor of the corporate building at 511 Forman Avenue; Clerk directed to notify Mrs. Turton that any changes to the previously approved site plan would have to be made by formal application;
2. 8/24/09 letter received from Michael J. Fiure, Ocean County Department of Parks & Recreation requesting a courtesy hearing for the Gull Island Park Redevelopment; Clerk directed to notify Mr. Fiure requested granted and scheduled for October 7, 2009 meeting

There being no further business to come before the Board, on a motion by Mrs Koscinski, seconded by Mr. Shamy and unanimously carried by roll call vote - meeting adjourned.
