The March 1, 2017 Regular meeting of the Point Pleasant Beach Planning Board opened at 7:00 pm. The Clerk read the notice of compliance with the "Open Public Meetings Act. Present were Board members: Vice-Chair Russell, Mr. Ritchings, Chairman Ammirata, Councilman Migut and Mr. Babbini
Absent: Mr. Sheehan, Ms. Devon, Mr. Paesano and Ms. Villani

Motion by councilman Migut, second by Mr. Ritchings to memorialize the minutes of February 1, 2017
In favor Ritchings, Russell, Ammirata, Migut and Babbini

2016-396 - Residences at Bay Point- 320 Maryland Avenue; Block 6; Lot 24 Amend resolution administratively Applicant would like to amend plan to change concrete decking to pavers and add open air pavilion.

Dan Popovitch, Esq appearing on behalf of the applicant. Applicant previously had a variance approved for impervious coverage for a pool. The applicant changed concrete to pavers and eliminated that variance and now would like to have an open air pavilion. Believes the open air pavilion will be an asset and request that the approval be made administratively.

Councilman Migut thinks the amendment to the application is admirable, thanks the condominium Association for going with pavers. It eliminates a variance and is consistent with the Master Plan which directs us to limit impervious coverage. It is consistent with our Flood Plain Management Plan which instructs us the same, so he will be in favor of the amendment to the application.

Mr. Ritchings stated that we looked at this believes that the pool feature itself is improved with the concrete to paver and the shade structure.

Trees will be installed as originally approved.

Motion by Councilman Migut, second by Mr. Ritchings to approve the amendment to the site plan of 2016-396 Residences at Bay Point 320 Maryland Avenue
