Minutes

The February 3, 2016 Regular meeting of the Point Pleasant Beach Planning Board opened at 7:00 pm. The Clerk read the notice of compliance with the "Open Public Meetings Act. Present were Board members Mr. Dooley, Mr. Ritchings, Mr. Winter, Chairman Ammirata, Councilman Migut, Mr. Sheehan and Ms. Devon
Absent: Mr. Liotta, Mr. Paesano and Mr. Corbally
Also present: Karen Mills, Dennis Galvin and Ray Savacool

Motion by Mr. Ritchings, second by Mr. Winter to memorialize the minutes of January 6, 2016

In favor: Dooley, Ritchings, Winter and Migut
Opposed: None


Motion by Mr. Winter, second by Councilman Migut to appoint Pete Ritchings as alternate to Open Space
In favor: Dooley, Ritchings, Winter, Ammirata, Migut, Sheehan and Devon
Opposed: None

Letter request Vitollo 122 Randall - amend resolution #2013-359 to plant street tree somewhere on the property.
Motion by Councilman Migut, second by vice chair Winter to allow the tree to be planted in the rear of the home.
In favor: Dooley, Winter, Ammirata, Migut, Sheehan and Devan
Opposed: Ritchings

Letter request Pasciuto 122A Randall Avenue Requesting to change configuration of deck and stairs. (Also resolution #2013-359)
Motion by Councilman Migut second vice chair Winter by to allow the rear stairs to be reconfigured and the deck to be extended.
In favor: Dooley, Ritchings, Winter, Ammirata, Migut, Sheehan and Devan
Opposed: None


Application #2015-391 John Bezerra 504 -506 Arnold Avenue Lot 12; Block 89 Applicant seeks variance for existing conditions at the site Applicant also seeks minor site plan approval to permit the existing stone parking lot to be paved.
Mike Schaller, attorney for applicant stated that the applicant is requesting to pave his stone commercial parking lot. John Bezerra, applicant sworn, stated that he is the managing partner of Bezmar, LLC. John Bezzera stated that there are three commercial properties located on this lot but only the Chiropractic office utilizes the parking lot. The other two stores do not have access from the parking lot. Currently there is no striping on the lot. There will be a loss of three parking spaces with the re-configuration. The proposed parking lot will have more orderly parking. There will be no change to the signage. The applicant has tried to contact the owner of the diner to co-ordinate paving his small section of the lot but has not been able to reach him.

Motion by Mr. Dooley, second by Councilman Migut to approve application #2015-391 of Joohn Bezerra (Bezmar, LLC) with conditions

Opposed: None


Ordinance #2016-01 Amending Flood Damage Prevention and #2016-02 - "To move the single lot residential zone lines to include lots 1.01, 1.02, 1.03, 1.04, and 1.05 - For review and consideration
Motion by Mr. Ritchings, second by vice chair Winters to recommend support of ordinance 2016-01 Flood Damage Prevention

In favor: Dooley, Ritchings, Winter, Migut, Sheehan, Devon and Ammirata
Opposed: None

Motion by Mr. Dooley, second by Ms. Devon to recommend support of ordinance 2016-02 - Rezoning 5 Riverwood parcels
In favor: Dooley, Ritchings, Winter, Migut, Sheehan, Devon and Ammirata
Opposed: None
